Let's face it, working with brands can feel like a never-ending rollercoaster ride: exciting, intense, but also exhausting. As a creative professional, it takes a mix of skill, dedication, and a pinch of magic to make words and images come alive. Still, I have a secret superpower that lets me easily tackle any challenge: my absolute love for reading!

From the back of cereal and milk boxes to hefty tomes and classic novels, I've been a reading maniac since I was a kid. I started reading seriously at age 10 (my daughter beat me by starting at 8). Well, she always saw me reading, so it’s no surprise. Although nailing the first full-length novel was a bit of a rocky road, I was hooked the moment I entered a different world and met new characters.

Nowadays, working with brands and dashing towards deadlines reminds me of the thrill of reading. As I open a book, the smell of paper and glue is like a warm embrace, beckoning me to leave stress behind and venture into new realms of imagination. Every page turned, every word savored, is like a magical potion that recharges and refreshes my mind, soul, and creativity.

As a die-hard Austen fan, I swooned over Darcy and read "Pride and Prejudice" more times than I care to admit. But my love for literature doesn't stop there. From the mesmerizing prose of Hilary Mantel to the heartfelt stories of Khaled Hosseini, I devour books across genres, countries, and cultures. I'm even toying with the idea of book restoration, but let's be real, I need more hours in a day!

Speaking of book lovers, there's one thing I believe in passionately: encouraging children and adults to read. Reading is not just a pastime or an escape hatch. It's a mirror, a window, and a door that can give us glimpses into diverse lives, thoughts, and experiences and can help us imagine new worlds and futures. So, let's share our reading journeys, uplift one another's bookish goals, and motivate each other to #KeepReading, one page at a time.

Remember, reading is not just for the classroom or the library. It's a lifelong habit and a joyous adventure that can make us better humans, better professionals, and better dreamers. Will you join me on this exciting path?
